Research peptides guide

A primer for the lab bench.

Concise, practical guidance for researchers handling lyophilized peptides — from reconstitution to storage to COA verification.

Reconstitution

Lyophilized peptides should be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) using a slow injection along the inside wall of the vial. Avoid agitation that could denature the peptide; gently swirl until fully dissolved.

Storage

Unreconstituted vials are stable at –20 °C in their original sealed container away from direct light. Once reconstituted, store at 2–8 °C and use within the recommended window for the specific peptide.

COA verification

Every batch ships with a certificate of analysis on request, listing peptide identity by mass spectrometry, purity by HPLC, and sterility per USP <71>. Cross-check the batch number on the vial against the COA before use.

Compliance

All products are sold strictly for laboratory research. They are not drugs, not approved by any national regulator for human or animal use, and not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic application.
